Postworks is a software company building world-class tools that take the pain (and paper) out of business communications. As we keep growing, we’re looking for a Business Analyst to join Postworks in Sofia, working right at the centre of our product and delivery work.

This role is all about understanding problems properly, turning messy ideas into clear requirements, and helping us build the right things for our customers. If you enjoy asking smart questions, simplifying complexity, and working closely with engineers and product people, you’ll fit right in.

About the role

As a Business Analyst at Postworks, you’ll work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to:

• Understand business and user problems, not just proposed solutions

• Gather, analyse, and document requirements in a clear, structured way

• Turn complex processes into simple, understandable flows

• Write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation

• Help prioritise work based on value, impact, and effort

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Support discovery work, workshops, and stakeholder conversations

• Spot gaps, risks, and assumptions early and help the team deal with them

This isn’t a “write docs and disappear” role. You’ll be actively involved in shaping what we build and why.

About you

We’re deliberately not being too prescriptive. Great Business Analysts come from different backgrounds. That said, we’re likely to be a good match if you:

• Have experience working as a Business Analyst (or in a very similar role)

• Are comfortable working with software development teams

• Can explain complex ideas clearly, using plain English

• Enjoy digging into details, but know when to zoom out

• Are confident asking questions and challenging assumptions (politely, obviously)

• Are organised, structured, and thoughtful in how you work

• Care about building products that genuinely help users

Experience with any of the following is a bonus, but not essential:

• SaaS products

• Regulated or security-focused environments

• Agile or iterative delivery methods

• Tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar

You’ll be based in our Sofia office and work closely with colleagues there and in other locations (details to be confirmed).
